Retreat Terms & Conditions

Event Details

The retreat is organised by Jodie Parsons, founder of Global Glow Networking and Dollsface Aesthetics.

Location: Marrakesh, Morocco
Dates: 18–23 May 2027
Minimum age: All guests must be aged 18 or over on 18 May 2027.

By purchasing a ticket, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these terms and conditions.

Deposits and Payments

A deposit of £500 per guest is required to secure a place. Your booking is not confirmed until the deposit has been received and written confirmation has been issued.

For a £3,000 ticket, a £500 deposit is required, followed by five monthly payments of £500. Each instalment must be paid by the 1st of the month.

If a payment becomes more than 14 days overdue and no alternative arrangement has been agreed in writing, we reserve the right to cancel the booking and resell the place. The original deposit may be retained to cover non-recoverable costs and losses arising from the cancellation, subject to applicable consumer law.

For a £2,500 ticket, a £500 deposit is required, followed by five monthly payments of £400.

The remaining balance must be paid in full by 1 March 2027, unless payment has been arranged through Klarna or Clearpay.

Guests using Klarna or Clearpay are responsible for complying with the payment provider’s terms and repayment schedule. Any missed payments, charges or disputes relating to those services must be resolved directly with the relevant provider.

If the balance is not paid by the deadline, and no alternative arrangement has been agreed in writing, we reserve the right to cancel the booking after giving the guest written notice and a reasonable opportunity to make payment.

The £500 deposit is paid towards the villa and other advance costs. If a guest cancels, the deposit may be retained to cover non-recoverable costs and losses arising from the cancellation, subject to applicable consumer law.

Guest Cancellations

Cancellation requests must be submitted to Jodie in writing.

Any refund will depend on when the cancellation is received, the costs already committed on the guest’s behalf and whether the place can reasonably be resold. Reasonable administration or payment-processing costs may be deducted where permitted by law.

Guests are strongly advised to purchase travel insurance that covers cancellation, illness, emergencies, travel disruption and personal belongings.

Ticket Transfers and Resale

The deadline for requesting a ticket transfer is 1 March 2027.

A later transfer may be considered only where the circumstances have been discussed with Jodie and the transfer has been expressly accepted in writing. Approval cannot be guaranteed.

Guests must notify Jodie before advertising, selling or transferring a ticket. The organiser is not responsible for finding a replacement guest or reselling a ticket.

All transfers are subject to approval, accommodation availability and the replacement guest providing all required information. A transfer is not confirmed until written approval has been issued.

Tickets must not be resold for more than the original purchase price. Any private payment arrangement between the original and replacement guest is their responsibility.

Accommodation and Room Sharing

Tickets are sold on a room-sharing basis.

Queen and king rooms are slightly larger, but guests booking these options will share a bed. Guests booking a single-room option will have their own bed.

Guests may request to share with a particular attendee. Requests will be accommodated wherever reasonably possible, provided both guests have purchased compatible ticket types. Room-sharing requests and specific room allocations cannot be guaranteed unless confirmed in writing.

Changes or Cancellation by the Organiser

The programme, speakers, activities, timings and accommodation arrangements may be changed where reasonably necessary.

If the retreat must be cancelled or significantly changed, guests will be informed as soon as reasonably possible and advised of their available options and any refund due under applicable law.

The organiser is not responsible for costs booked separately by guests, including flights, transfers, additional accommodation or other travel arrangements, except where responsibility cannot legally be excluded. Guests should ensure these arrangements are adequately insured.

Guest Conduct

All guests must behave respectfully towards other attendees, speakers, staff and villa personnel.

Bullying, harassment, discrimination, intimidation, threatening behaviour, violence, deliberate disruption, illegal drug use and damage to property will not be tolerated.

Where reasonably necessary to protect guests, staff or property, anyone involved in serious or repeated misconduct may be required to leave the retreat or villa. That guest will be responsible for arranging and paying for their own alternative accommodation and transport.

Any entitlement to a refund following removal will depend on the circumstances and applicable law.

Concerns and Complaints

Concerns, complaints or incidents must be reported privately to Jodie as soon as possible so that they can be addressed promptly and appropriately.

Guests should not attempt to resolve serious disputes through confrontation. Immediate safety concerns should be reported to Jodie, villa staff or the emergency services as appropriate.

Dietary Requirements and Allergies

All dietary requirements and food allergies must be provided to Jodie in writing no later than 18 April 2027.

Reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate requirements received by the deadline. However, an entirely allergen-free environment cannot be guaranteed, particularly where food is prepared in a shared kitchen.

Guests with severe or life-threatening allergies must contact Jodie before booking to discuss whether their needs can be accommodated safely.

Health, Safety and Medical Requirements

Guests are responsible for deciding whether they are medically and physically able to travel and participate in the retreat and its activities.

Any medical condition, accessibility requirement or other circumstance that may affect a guest’s safety or participation should be disclosed privately before attending.

Guests are responsible for bringing any medication they require and must provide an emergency contact before travelling.

Travel Documents and Insurance

Guests are responsible for arranging their own travel and checking that they have valid passports, visas, vaccinations and any other documents required to enter Morocco and return home.

The organiser is not responsible for missed flights, denied entry, travel delays or independently booked arrangements, except where responsibility cannot legally be excluded.

Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended.

Personal Belongings and Property Damage

Guests are responsible for their personal belongings throughout the retreat. Any loss, theft or damage should be reported promptly.

A guest may be charged for damage they deliberately cause, or damage resulting from their negligence, to the villa or its contents. Responsibility will be assessed fairly using the available evidence.

Photography, Recording and Privacy

Photographs and videos may be taken during the retreat for promotional purposes. Guests will be given a reasonable way to opt out of identifiable promotional content.

Guests must obtain permission before recording or publishing another attendee’s private conversation, personal contribution or story.

Personal information will be used to administer bookings, organise the retreat, meet disclosed requirements and communicate essential information. Sensitive information will be handled confidentially and shared only where reasonably necessary.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Guests remain responsible for their own actions, travel arrangements and compliance with applicable laws and villa rules.

Acceptance

By purchasing a ticket, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and agree to comply with these terms, the villa’s rules and any reasonable health or safety instructions provided before or during the retreat.
